Here's where you can go on a Horse-Drawn Sleigh or Carriage Ride

What could be more magical than galloping through a winter wonderland on a horse drawn sleigh ride?

Here are two special places that offer magical horse-drawn sleigh rides. (Be forewarned: It ain't cheap.)

Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides at Apple Holler

The old-fashioned sleigh rides at Apple Holler take you and your family through the snow-covered orchards and 100-year-old hardwoods, while you enjoy the scenery and listen to the clopping of the Amish Haflinger horses pulling you. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy s’mores around a campfire and a cup of hot cocoa or warm apple cider.

Winter 2017-2018 Cost: $80.00 for up to four people (plus tax) and $15.00 for additional person (plus tax)

Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides at Paradise Ranch

The sleigh rides at Paradise Ranch are pulled by majestic Percheron horses that take you through forty acres of woods decorated with twinkling Christmas lights. The sleigh holds up to 12 people. Afterwards, you can sit around the campfire with s’mores, or enjoy the heated, festive barn and a warm drink.

Cost is $42 per person or $29 for ages 11 and under.
