Just Announced! Old World Wisconsin Hosting Guided Journeys For Families

Families can journey back in time on Wednesdays at Old World Wisconsin with a guided tour of the site, all summer long.


Tours are available three times a day between 9:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Tickets are $10.99 for adults ($8.99 for seniors 65+), and $5.99 for kids.


There are 3 tours to choose from: Beasts and Barns, Makers and Moo-vers, and Building a Home:

Beasts and Barns


9:15 AM | 11:30 AM | 2 PM From oxen, to a dairy barn, to a one-room church, discover what it means to be from a rural place and what community and family can look like across generations, as you travel from the 1860s to the 1910s in Life on the Farms.

Makers and Moo-vers


9:15 AM | 11:45 AM | 2 PM Get up close with some of our heritage animals as you explore the Yankee Farm. Figure out what animals make, and how they move and how they help us make and moo-ve, too!

Building a Home


9:30 AM | Noon | 2:15 PM Travel back to the 1860s Norwegian Immigrant Farm and look closely to find out what it takes to build a home. Then, practice your detective skills to see how a home can change over time Find out more about the Guided Tours on Old World Wisconsin's website.
